Springtime Makeup: Colored Eyeliner

There isn't a better time to experiment with colorful makeup than springtime. Now, I'm not saying go smack on a lime green eyeshadow and bright orange lipstick (unless that's your thing – you do you, girl). A fun, more subtle way to incorporate a pop of color is by using a colored eyeliner. NYX Cosmetics has a relatively new line of Vivid Bright Eye Liners with colors ranging from more bold like Vivid Red, Violet and Sapphire (pictured above) to softer pastel shades such as Vivid Blossom, Halo and Vivid Petal, which would be just as pretty for a light springtime look.

If you're more comfortable using a pencil eyeliner, I recommend Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, which comes in 40(!) different unique shades. They're super creamy, intensely pigmented and waterproof, too, which means you don't have to worry about your eyeliner smudging all over the place, especially with warmer days fast approaching.
