Holiday Makeup: Simple Eyes + Bold Lips

If your holidays are turning out anything like mine, you're busy running around trying to find blush-colored ornaments (Liem specifically requested a pink tree this year; we compromised), scouring gift guides for the best presents, and navigating your way around the maze of a grocery store. With all that, you might be asking yourself, who has time to blend out a smoky eye? If you're pressed for time but still want to look chic and put-together, this makeup look is for you. Just throw on an LBD, slick that hair back, and you're done!

All you'll need is a neutral brown shadow (or contouring powder), your favorite mascara, and a bold, long-wearing lipstick. Here, I'm wearing the L'oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor, which comes with an innovative dual-sided applicator: (1) a wand to first apply the color and (2) a twist-up color seal balm that you apply on top to lock in both color and moisture. What I love about this lipstick is that it has intense pigment, it doesn't dry out my lips, and it has amazing staying power. Continue reading to find out what else I used to create this look!
